Then make your way to Lugar da Serra and descend to the village of Capanario by agricultural paths, with a stop for coffee at a local bar with stunning views over the sea.

Continue up to 1007m by Encomeada and take some time to admire the breathtaking landscape of both the north and south coasts. Next, head towards Fanal where you can explore one of Madeira’s oldest forests before beginning your descent with a stop in Ribeira da Janela at the viewpoint.

Your tour continues to Seixal where you’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Madeiran BBQ lunch. After lunch, take some time to marvel at Véu da Noiva waterfall before continuing on until São Vicente, where you can see 5 more waterfalls along the way. Finally, end your day with one last stop at Água d’Alto waterfall before returning back to Funchal.
